I want this to be a good experience for you.
Insight Society: A Psychotherapy Group For Anxiety and Depression
Down Under School of Yoga
Insight Society is a ten-week program that brings together group psychotherapy and mindfulness practice to address anxiety and depression as experiences worth understanding.
Each week combines a 30-minute yoga or mindfulness practice with a 60-minute group therapy discussion. Over the course of the program, we explore the relational and behavioral patterns underneath your distress, the neuroscience of why we suffer, and how trauma quietly shapes the way we move through the world.
You'll leave with more than coping strategies. You'll leave with a different relationship to yourself.

Weekly Yoga Classes
I came to yoga right after walking away from four years of NCAA athletics. The physical challenge is what got me in the door. The mental and emotional freedom it keeps offering is what keeps me coming back.
My classes blend strength, athleticism, and mindfulness into a rhythmic flow as a way of helping you process and attune to what's happening in your body, not just move through a sequence.
I think of yoga as a collection of brief, effort-filled moments that, when gathered together, create something complete, steady, and powerful.
You can expect a grounding opening meditation, sun salutations, a dynamic sequence, and continuous breath throughout.
